Donzo helps busy households plan dinners, build grocery lists, and get grocery orders ready for pickup or delivery.

We collect personal information that you provide directly to us, information created when you use Donzo, and limited technical information collected automatically when you use our website or services.

A. Information you provide when joining early access.

When you join the Donzo early access list, we may collect:

  • Your first name.

  • Your email address.

  • Your postal code or general location.

  • Your household size.

  • Information about your dinner planning or grocery shopping needs.

  • Any other information you choose to submit through our forms.

B. Account and household information.

If you create an account or use Donzo’s meal planning features, we may collect:

  • Email address.

  • Phone number, if provided.

  • Household size.

  • Number of adults and children in your household.

  • Cooking preferences.

  • Preferred cooking time.

  • Budget preferences.

  • Preferred grocery stores.

  • Pickup or delivery preferences.

Donzo is not a medical, nutrition, or allergy safety service. You are responsible for reviewing all meals, ingredients, substitutions, grocery items, labels, and allergen information before ordering, purchasing, preparing, or consuming food.

D. Grocery order information.

If you use Donzo to prepare, review, or request a grocery order, we may collect:

  • Selected meals.

  • Grocery items.

  • Grocery list details.

  • Store preferences.

  • Substitution preferences.

  • Pickup or delivery preferences.

  • Delivery address, if needed.

  • Order notes.

  • Order status.

  • Order history.

  • Refund, adjustment, or support information.

If Donzo manually helps prepare or place a grocery order, our team or contractors may need to access the information required to complete that request.

Do not send us passwords for your grocery store accounts. We will never ask you to send your grocery account password by email, text, chat, or form.

If Donzo accepts payments, we may collect billing-related information, such as:

  • Transaction amount.

  • Transaction date.

Third-party grocery stores, platforms, and delivery providers may have their own privacy policies and terms.

C. Payment processors.

If you make a payment through Donzo, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment provider. We may receive limited transaction information from that provider, such as payment status, transaction amount, billing details, and refund information.

D. Legal, safety, and compliance reasons.

Donzo is intended for adults and household decision-makers. Donzo is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

Parents or guardians may provide household preferences that relate to children, such as food dislikes or serving needs, but should only provide information that is necessary to use Donzo.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to Donzo without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete the information.
